Marking and un-marking a faulty object or rack
Marking an Object or Rack as faulty in Racktables causes the object or rack to turn red, meaning that it can be easily identified.

Marking an Object as faulty
To mark an object as faulty, from the main page select Objects. Click on the properties tab, and tick the box that says has problems. It is worth adding a note in the comments section with regards to what the fault is. Click the hard disk icon to save.

Marking a Rack as faulty
To mark an entire rack as faulty, from the main page select Rackspace. Click on the name of the rack that is faulty, select the properties tab and tick the box that says it has problems. A note should be added in the comments section with regards to what the fault is. Click the hard disk icon to save.

Removing faulty status from Object
To remove the faulty status from an object, from the main page select Object. Select the properties tab, untick the box that says has problems. Click the hard disk icon to save.

Removing faulty status from a Rack
To remove the faulty status from the entire rack, from the main page select Rackspace. Click the name of the rack that is currently marked as faulty, select the properties tab, and untick the box that says has problems. Click the hard disk icon to save.
