Assigning IP Addresses to Objects

Assigning IP Addresses to Objects
Connecting an Object to an IP address couldn’t be easier. Go to the IP tab, within the properties of your object.

Within the OS Interface field, type the name of the NIC you want to give an IP address to. In our example we have used “iLO” and “eth0”
In the IP address field, simply type the IP address you have given the device/server
The type field defaults to “Connected” – That’s fine for most circumstances – Have a look at the drop down for other options that might apply
Click on the + sign to add the NIC, with it’s new IP address in
Repeat for other NIC’s
